Great pictures, Luv...we will always remember.
I’ve got the heater going in the bathroom, and I’m just about ready to head in to soak. Sitting at the computer is not too comfortable right now. Soak and a handful of ibuprofen and then I’m going to bed.
Rest well when you get there.
We’ve had too many cloudy days the past couple of months so sunshine is much desired. And it would help things dry out and we certainly need that.
I do hope they’re right about it not raining tomorrow night. I’m not looking forward to the 2hour drive each way as it is.
We did make it through the whole day without rain but just barely. There’s a swath of rain and storms running from TX to the NC coast and beyond that’s stayed kissed the TN/AL state line all day. We’re just above the line. It keeps trying to move north but hasn’t so far and it can stay down there!
UGH! Just way too cold there these days! I hope those tires behave so you don’t get stuck on the side of the road in the morning.
I hope the soak and ibuprofen give your knees the relief you need to get a good night’s sleep. You haven’t had much the past couple of nights.
Good luck with everything tomorrow!
How's everyone doing this morning?
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Were you able to head out to the lake or did it rain too much for an outing? It was moving into your area when I turned off the computer before going to bed.
BTW I got to see the severe weather coverage from WTVF in Nashville TN as the storms move through the Nashville DMA. Those were really bad storms. I know it was harrowing experience for you guys. Did you suffer any damage from those storms?
Well, then, I hope it’s sunny and warm AND dry! It is about time after all!
[I’m goin’ for it]

Glad you two were able to have some fun at Wichita Ridge.
That's the news channel I watched all night as the tornado ripped across TN. We live pretty much due south of McMinnville so were far from the storm's path but my brother and sister-in-law live in Cookeville. The tornado was an EF4 when it hit there. Fortunately it missed their house by a couple of miles and they had no damage. I sweated bullets, though, until he replied to my email the next morning.
You saw some of the damage in Nashville in that video and the tornado was an EF2 at the time it hit. Here's a video clip of some of the destruction in Cookeville. Heart-stopping. Though 18 deaths are 18 too many, I'm amazed there weren't more.
We’ll have the warm, maybe the dry, but I’m not holding my breath on the sunny part. LOL The first two will make me happy enough.
And WOOHOO! Ya got it!
It was so nice yesterday that I stained my new handrails with a water-based stain and was able to work outside in a T-Shirt.
Today is a wee bit cooler...mid-forties.
That’s fine with me.
It rains a little every day, so it’s not quite a drought, just no snow.
We will probably get slammed in April. But by then, the longer days will make it more bearable.
I am sorry you are getting the bad weather though!
“Pumpkin Spice tea and waffles.
Spel will be happy to pour.
Pinkie up, Spel!”
Oh, YES! I will be more than happy to pour, pinkie up, that ugly, nasty tea.....RIGHT DOWN THE TUBES! ;-)
Thanks, unique!
Luv.....#50!!
