No, I think it’s that they are testing people. So if the testing went from literally zero people per year, to hundreds of thousands, then surely you’re going to wind up with a statistical anomoly like this.

Much like screening folks for cancer, there is a gobsmack of money to be made doing this “safety first” screening stuff so YOU TOO can be saved...but ONLY if you act NOWWWW!!!!!

No logical reason for that-the only possible payout is monthly disability income-aka SSDI-and it isn’t enough to make filing such a claim worthwhile-maybe the effects of all the drugs people take at the drop of a hat, or the chemicals in the processed food people stuff themselves with, etc are really not so harmless after all...
