CALIFORNIA (VINnews) – Los Angeles-area officials declared an emergency, saying they’ve discovered six new COVID-19 cases in the county over the last 48 hours.
“I have just signed a proclamation declaring the existence of a local emergency. I want to reiterate that this is not a response rooted in panic,” Kathryn Barger, chairwoman of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, said at a press conference.
Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti joined county health officials and supervisors, along with the City of Long Beach health officer, at the news conference.
County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis said the county declared the emergency “to allow us to further draw down resources

They are ALL recent travelers to affected countries..unfortunately 1 patient is a Kaiser West LA member, and yep so am I..I was at Kaiser on Saturday to get blood work done and my sister was there yesterday at the GYN(She is 4 months pregnant) when I heard last night Kaiser West LA my heart dropped..just hoping the person(Who is recovering at home) did NOT actually go to Kaiser to be checked out
But still no “crisis” from ILLEGALS jumping the border.

Has he heard anything about the Kaiser patient..all of these cases Im hoping they never actually left their houses, where in LA county its huge LA county can mean Culver City, can basically mean anywhere..LA wants to clean up the schools I wonder if they will clean up the poop on the streets and get the homeless off the streets
My guess is the LA county cases are ones who returned from Mexico..I find it hard to believe they ALL came back from Italy

Nonsense, of course it is. Liberals love to stir up panic in the poor unwashed among us. Then they can blame someone for it’s cause and present themselves as heroes as they ride to the rescue.
The weeks are clicking by. How many people other than “sick old people’ are dying of the disease in the US?
