Mike Lindell: President Trump Rebranded the Republican Party to the ‘Common Sense Party’
Breitbart ^ | 3 Mar 2020 | HANNAH BLEAU

Posted on 03/03/2020 12:58:59 PM PST by Hojczyk

Lindell briefly spoke about his memoir, What Are the Odds? From Crack Addict to CEO, which details his rise from addiction to entrepreneurial success. He hopes it will inspire others and help “destroy addiction in this country” — an effort he noted is also “dear” to the president’s heart.

“I didn’t think politics had anything to do with our daily lives,” he said. “I had never voted. Well boy I know now.”

Lindell now serves as chairman of the Minnesota Trump campaign — a state Trump narrowly lost in 2016.

“I’m telling you in Minnesota, it’s ground zero for this country,” he told Breitbart News Washington Political Editor Matthew Boyle.

He plans to hold individual “mini rallies” across the state and tell his story in an effort to help others across the political aisle realize the “common sense” solutions Trump has embraced.

“I’m going to go to these towns and do these mini rallies where I bring everybody out. Democrats and Republicans, bring them out. I tell them my story. How I didn’t know about politics, fitting in and how it works in your daily lives and how we have a president who is not only the best problem-solution person, but he also has a gift from God,” he said.

“I’m going to get that word out because in Minnesota, like other places, the media blocks the real truth,” he said, noting the power of taking his message directly to the people.

The CEO stressed Trump’s rebranding of the Republican Party, making it into “the new party, the common sense party.”

“That’s what I call it now,” Lindell said, praising Trump for smashing political correctness and noting it as one of Trump’s top achievements.

The Republican party is still the Republican party.
Trump and supporters are the Common Sense party.

I agree the party is changing for the good, but the scumbag quislings are still in the leadership.

I get worried whenever I hear a politician using the words “common sense”, as in “common sense gun laws”.

What Are the Odds? From Crack Addict to CEO

Far more than a “business memoir,” What Are the Odds? is a raw, authentic account by a man many thought would never rise above his serial, addiction-fueled failures. Mike’s gripping narrative transports readers from his small-town tavern with its colorful cast of “Regulars” to Mexico and a drug deal gone awry.

From Las Vegas casinos, where Mike won and lost fortunes as a professional gambler, to a jail-cell beatdown. From failed rehabs to his 20-year marriage, an ideal union decimated by addiction. And finally, to the redemption of the most shameful moment of his life. An unvarnished account of the ravages of cocaine, crack, and gambling addiction, What Are the Odds tells the improbable tale of how a small-town guy with a dream somehow made it from “the crack house to the White House.”

More importantly, Mike opens up about the God who relentlessly chased him down, turning him from a casual believer to a passionate evangelist with an absolute, mathematical certainty that God is real. What Are the Odds? will speak to

I heard him tell his story a long time ago, right before I bought New Pillows. Pretty impressive that he was able to turn himself around.

What a story. Thanks for the details. Never heard any of it.
Seems like a gutsy guy.

Not the oft heard urban story “Due to a bad childhood, no opportunities for me as for the wealthy elite, facing systemic racism in society and lack of enough government benefits I had no choice but to become a career criminal.”

I always laugh when I think of the OLD Republican Party making him sign a paper that he would not start a third party.

He didn't start a third party.......he remolded the Republican Party.....effectively creating a third party and tossing the second party in the dumpster.

The judges alone will be his legacy. And the "wall" aka "fence" and trade and the economy and the wars and ....oh my...

How lucky we are!!

AND we dodged a bullet.

I admire him. He could easily just remain silent about his politics. I know I’d never buy a paper clip from an outspoken Dem sympathizer.

Yep.. George HW Bush was a NWO Globalist.

Pence is too nice.. I don’t know if he could stand up to the Deep State.

We’ll need another Trump in 2024. Hopefully another non-politian, businessperson will step forward at that time.

Hmmm.. How about Melania?! She is brilliant.. cool, calm and collected.. Has a Great sense of humor.. Will thoroughly know the ropes after 8 years in the WH.. AND Unlike the Hildebeast.. Melania is LOVED!! She could WIN!!

“Mike Lindell: President Trump Rebranded the Republican Party to the ‘Common Sense Party’”

President Trump also remade the old GOPe/RINO/Bushite/CountryClub party into the working peoples’ party, and NOT just “rebranding” it as that, but actually transformed the old party that putting working americans first and foremost in all of its policies ...

of course, President Trump had to drag that old GOP party kicking and screaming the whole way, but given that President Trump has now installed loyalists at every level in the party, and is now the number one fund-raiser for the RNC, and is the number one fund raiser for every newly budding or endangered House and Senate member he chooses to directly help, and has sent the legions of consultants and phony “keepers of True Conservatism™” packing for good, i’m hoping the transformation is permanent after five more years ...

“He didn’t start a third party.......he remolded the Republican Party.....effectively creating a third party and tossing the second party in the dumpster.”

that’s EXACTLY what Donald Trump did! and that is EXACTLY what i’ve been calling on to happen for years, namely that starting any 3rd party from scratch was doomed to failure and that our only viable option was to somehow seize the levers of power in the GOP, take it over, and transform it into what it has become under Donald Trump; however, i had no idea how to do that and no inkling that there was someone out there who could do that single-handedly ... President is the greatest President in my lifetime, and one of the top half-dozen in all of U.S. history ...

“Is Pence the one”

doubtful ... Trump’s successor needs to be bold, charismatic, fearless of the media, a true fighter, a brilliant politician, have indefatigable energy, and have the things that are less easy to see, namely a brilliant long-term strategist and short term tactician implementing transformative polices that are no easily undone ... and i really don’t see anyone like that ... possibly some of the Trump loyalists in his inner circle like Don Jr, Kimberly Guilfoyle or Brad Parscale ... also there are really fine candidates in the House and Senate, people like Jim Jordan, Devin Nunes, Rand Paul, Tom Cotton, Josh Hawley, and even Lindsey Graham, pretty much all of whom have been carefully studying Donald Trump and have essentially been taking ball-growing lessons from our Commander-in-Chief ...

Having lived 2 years in Minneapolis I know that city will always vote Democrat. Most of the rest of the state votes Republican though except for the Iron Range up around Duluth. Those are classic blue collar labor union workers. They traditionally vote Democrat and did in the last election but exactly those kind of voters flipped to Trump almost everywhere else in the Midwest. If Trump can flip them this time, he can carry Minnesota. He only lost by something like 10,000 votes last time.

I remember after the Inauguration Judge Jeanine was doing man-on-the-street interviews in DC. She caught Mike Lindell walking down the street carrying one of his pillows. He was so EXCITED about Trump!

Also, he was featured on an episode of “Life, Liberty, and Levin” several months ago. It was excellent.
