As a moderate, the late Arizona Senator John McCain was and is a political hero of mine.
While I did not always agree with everything John McCain stood for, I respect the fact that he stood up for what he believed in, I respect his service to our country, I respect that he didnt view compromise as a weakness, and I respect his campaign message of Country First.
Many people nowadays when they hear America First, think of it as a nationalistic dog whistle thanks to President Trump. This however, was not what John McCain meant when he used the motto Country First in 2008.

Obviously he never had to work for McCain.
“McCain First” was all he had on his mind.

I'm old enough to remeber when the thieving crook McCain got caught stealing money in the Keating Five scandal.
Thievin' Juan was needed as the stooge who made it a "bi-partisan" scandal.

There are few politicians as bad and destructive for America as John McCain was - and with his attitude it seemed more intentional than foolish.
