It is the kind of loyalty that has always been expected of white Southern women, who have long played a role as allies of the status quo. This was true during the days of slavery, then the days of segregation, and held true when the women’s rights movement arrived and white Southern women joined the conservative movement instead, rallying to the slogan, “Stop Taking Our Privileges.” In all the decades that followed, it has been the votes of white Southern women that have defined and shored up the modern Republican Party.

In the last election, white women overall voted narrowly for Trump.

However, white single women voted heavily Hillary and Democrat. It was married white women who gave strong support to Trump.

In any demographic there will.be exceptions to the rule, of course.

I’m sure others have greater detailed knowledge of all.of this.

I’ve heard that trump.hopes to make some inroads on the black vote, of which he got an estimated 8% in 2016. However, black women are still.expected to be well over 90% Democrat this year. It is among black men that Trump and his people expect to chip away at Democrat dominance of their vote.

A white male friend tried the English PhD route at a major Southern university whose name you would instantly recognize, and might even think a bit conservative. This in the early 2000s time frame. Was doing it for the love of English, the language, the literature. The kind of person we want teaching English.

This did not jive with the modern SJW English department. Especially the white male part. While he might could have toughed it out and gotten his PhD, he realized he had no career path post graduation.

So he retooled, ended up in financial services, and retired in his early 50s. Because he could.

Still, it’s a story that supports your point.

Unless one intends a career as an engineer or in law or medicine a university education is useless and expensive. You're better off learning plumbing. Seriously, plumbers make a good buck. It's not exactly the pleasant of occupations to be sure but as Ben Franklin once observed “Don't we know the worth of water when the well runs dry’’.

I’ve never seen this slogan, anywhere, anytime, and at any moment of my 64 years on Earth. I’m fairly well read. I’ve been around the country, including the south. Never seen this slogan. Therefore, I can either believe the writer or believe it’s bullshit. I’m going with the latter.
