Didn’t click on the link...after all,it’s The Guardian. All I want to know is...at what point in this piece did The Guardian blame Trump?

He wonders how he got coronavirus. One thing he did different from routine was to buy a mask. Possibly he got the virus from already-infected people buying theirs, too.

All I want to know is...at what point in this piece did The Guardian blame Trump? The story was well told and worth a read. Immediately after the story..., the Guardian begged for funds to combat what evil the "Orange Man" has wrought!

What amaze me was his age. He was 21 and still needed hospital bed to recover.

[[my muscles became sore all over.]]
Was watching fox’s ‘health experts’ discuss the coronovirus and they said what sets it apart from regular flu was that it didn’t cause muscle soreness
So what’s the truth?

I’ve read two other stories, both saying it was like a moderately bad cold and no hospitalization or special treatment was needed. So obviously it depends, as does most every disease I guess. Good to know both sides.

"Now that I think of it, I might have missed the best time for treatment, failing to contain the virus with antiviral rugs in its early stages." I had thought that antiviral drugs had not been shown to be effective (?).
Not sure China (ex Hong Kong) has a very well developed public health or hospital care system.
I'd think that selling live, wild animals in food markets has been prohibited in most developed nations since at least the 19th Century. (For reasons that were probably empirically determined by the 19th Century.)
I agree that being treated for a potentially fatal viral illness in China is probably pretty close to Hell.

No, he recovered at home. His family set up a quarantine area for him. Yet, they got sick too. His grandmother got 😷 ill. They all got better and the kid suffered the harshest symptoms.

Urban health care in China is very good, except the quality of the doctors is spotty as buying your way through medical school is common.

As a cure they’re ineffective, but I believe they can help in managing the virus as it runs it course. Just as in early stages I imagine some OTC medications can help with early symptoms.

Even in tip-top shape, just being in China (virus-plagued or otherwise) is close enough to Hell in my book.

"No, he recovered at home. His family set up a quarantine area for him."
Maybe I am misreading the section The Virus spreads:
" The hospital gave me five days of an anti-HIV medicine for free, while my family were also starting to take prescribed medicine. Due to my improved situation and limited beds in the hospital, I was told to go home and isolate myself, and thus my IV therapy ended."
Does this indicated he was in the Hospital?

He visited two hospitals.
He recovered in quarantine at home with the help of his family. He details those efforts well and how his family handled food utensils.
