Child protective services? A joke.
Every child dragged across the desert to enter the USA was abused. The very practice of entering a child illegally involves treatment over a sustained period that constitutes abuse.
There was not one single call to child services or a single arrest for child abuse.
Rather than child advocacy, Child Protective Services set on it’s ass and did nothing
