A 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel voted unanimously Friday to suspend an order it issued earlier in the day to block a central pillar of the Trump administration’s policy requiring asylum seekers to wait in Mexico while their cases wind through U.S. courts.

9th suspends their OWN ORDER? If that isn’t a sign that the court is run amok and not obeying Constitutional principles then I don’t know what would be.
I think the SC is getting upset with these blanket orders limiting presidential power.
Such is what we get when we empower courts with dictatorial power and untether it from the constitution: they do whatever they want and use lawerly words to justify it, whatever it is.
It's too bad the leftist judges can't be tried, convicted, and taken to the gallows.
Decision came from Ferdinand F. Fernandez, William A. Fletcher,and Richard A. Paez, Circuit Judges - two are Clinton appointees the other Reagan. They are allowing more time is all, not a final decision. Maybe they realized that an en-banke review by the entire 9th circuit court would reverse their first order anyway.

So, the three judges who voted for this injunction suddenly changed their minds and voted against it?
The article seems to flip back and forth between the government’s statements and the opposition. What, in 25 words or less, is going on? Anybody?
Anyone think that the judges thought for a second and realized these types of stays look bad in the face of what is currently going on in the world?
Right yet they still rule in favor of leftists.
I have said this many times but I will say it again. Conservatives are literally wasting time thinking they are going to get conservative judges. We won't. In a nutshell conservative judges are unicorns. They don't exist. There are only two types of judges. Outright leftists and outright leftists pretending to be conservative to one degree or another. We need to reform the courts to make judges accountable and to remove the lifetime tenure otherwise we will continue to lose. Trying to find a conservative who has spent their lives in a government job, wearing a fancy black robe and sits in a seat high about everyone else and has complete control of that room is a waste of time. True conservatives rarely if ever become judges. It's simply not in our nature to want power over others, or to believe we have some superior reasoning skills, or to be addressed as "your honor" and sit in judgement of others and wield power of everyone. This job attracts the wrong type of person period. It attracts the same type of people who are perpetually in charge of your HOA and they produce the same results. The sooner we realize this fact the sooner we will get to judicial reforms that will have a positive effect.
The same judges that ruled 2 to 1 against Trump...stayed their order until Trump can appeal.
They were for it before they were against it. I guess.
It was 2-1 - two Rapin Bill judges versus a Reagan judge.
I live in Northern Kentucky. We have the best judges in the country, our federal judges are Jim Bunnings son and a veteran judge now on senior status. The old guy is no nonsense wise and intimidating.
He presided over the Sandman v CNN matter. I have no direct knowledge, save experiance with this guy.
I imagine CNN trotted in some big caliber suits, expecting a quick dismissal. After some preliminary discovery a first conference was scheduled. The good judge probably interrupted the CNN suits and said something like “ This matter is going to a jury, where you have a well behave child being trashed and savaged by you media whores. And if you have any brains at all you’ll offer this guy $X or I my direct a verdict in his favor”
And poof, to the suprise of everybody, it quickly settled, and Sandman has a huge balance in his checking account.

Here’s my take: They basically chose to override a Supreme Court ruling, based on their hatred of Trump. Then it occurred to them that if they continued with their rant, the Supreme Court would not only stop them, but would stop EVERY nationally-binding ruling coming from the lower courts.
So they wisely (per their agenda) chose to walk it back so that they wouldn’t risk losing their power for national-directives in the future.
Public sentiment will absolutely be on the President's side. Let them yell and scream about this all they want. It will only hurt the dems with the rational-thinking electorate. Ignore this silly "order" while it is being appealed to SCOTUS. The dems have already used their "impeachment bullet" and it simply bounced off of Trump without leaving so much as a bruise.
