And the larger point is that China, and Russia before it, adopted communism while still largely a peasant societies. They just exchanged their emperor/tsar for a central committee. Advanced societies have to go through a long march of socialism that gradually takes away liberties and choice. Boil the frog and you get a Venezuela.
I honestly think that Bernie just wants to collapse the system here because he believes that what will come out the other side will be an authoritarian state.
Even the big money guys like Bloomberg have apparently decided that political power is richer than riches.
I just told my husband this year somehow we need to beat down any notion whatsoever of socialism, communism, fascism now and forever. It should never, ever be mentioned or considered again.
This is all well and good but presupposes the virus being organic.
Why is it so hard to believe there are folks using China to defeat us...bankers, elitists...making deals with China to lower their yuan, lose a few people (disposable assets)...no one needs convincing about single payer, communism, etc. ???
Think of the TIMING, PEOPLE...timing...no coincidences...peak PDJT, desperation, ...one more term for PDJT and most of their streams of income and control cease.
Capisce???
Pull head out of sand, in 3-2-1, come on, you can do it!
“He immediately answers the fda question and it forms the basis of excellent insight into government power and accountability.”
I think he does, yes.
Yep. Very good article.
And i think potus and israel figured it out ahead of time

Not directed at you, the author and any others who still think it’s just a “virus” that popped up and is causing problems.
No coincidences.
This should be required reading for every literate left-leaning individual in our nation. Those who need it most will never see it.
You have it right.
Communism brings you $hitty hospitals, because who are you going to complain to? the government? the government caused the $hitty hospital, and will make you disappear for complaining.
And since the government owns all the hospitals, where are you going to go to get better treatment? the hospital down the street has green walls and $hit on the floor, the one you’re in has blue walls and $hit on the floor.
No one learns. If you don’t like the motor vehicles department, where are you going to go? the dmv in the next town is the same, run by the same people, and cares nothing about you.
What is your point?
.... ping
excellent
Wow! That IS a great article - thanks for the ping

“toilets were holes in the ground you squat over.”
Saw a few in Japan. They are called Traditional toilets. Never saw anyone go into to use one!
There was a video about the quarantine in China. The quarantine area had long rows of bed in a large room and bathrooms with no sinks.
Recently met a woman in her late 20’s who just, about month before, moved here from China. She was darn right giddy! She couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful it was in American. As we were winding down our conversation, I put my hand of her shoulder and I said “Welcome to America. I’m glad your here.” And she started to cry.
Sometimes we forget how lucky we are.
That article was very eye opening to me.
Amazing and horrifying!

My favorite commercial for a favorite FReeper.
Every time I hear this song on television I MUST look toward the screen.
When in China on a tour they took us up to a high mountain top, home to Buddhists. This is where I most vividly remember the nasty holes in the grounds, no water, etc. The most awful memory however that I have is while walking back to the parking lot a kitty ran up to me. The poor thing had obviously been very burnt at one time. He was missing an ear his tail was broken, his fur and skin were scarred. He meowed loudly to me most likely very hungry. Sadly I had no food, nothing at all to give him. I still feel bad about that to this day.
