When in China on a tour they took us up to a high mountain top, home to Buddhists. This is where I most vividly remember the nasty holes in the grounds, no water, etc. The most awful memory however that I have is while walking back to the parking lot a kitty ran up to me. The poor thing had obviously been very burnt at one time. He was missing an ear his tail was broken, his fur and skin were scarred. He meowed loudly to me most likely very hungry. Sadly I had no food, nothing at all to give him. I still feel bad about that to this day.

OUCH! Not like you could take that little one home!

Tough day.

We used to let our kids the pick a half way point on our vacation drives. One year my son picked Okefenokee Swamp on our way to Florida.

Alligators in the parking lot!!! I was worried that we might become food!!!!
