Um, less than 3,000 people have died from this worldwide. Is 3,000 deaths now a pandemic?

25,000 have already died from influenza. Is this a pandemic in your world?

Hey...just saying that schools do have pandemic plans and some of that involves tele-teaching. Look, the chances that you are going to die from Covid-19 are anywhere from 2.1-4.6 percent. Higher if you are 80+ closer to 15%.

I don’t make the rules. If towns are shut down due to a real or imagined pandemic what do you want me to do? I don’t plan on running around with my hair on fire...Hopefully I will have a fair season this Spring...but will people come to the fair with bugs potentially floating around? So I loose thousands there...If the fear continues into the summer...that’s more money lost....

Once pallative medications are available, then the fear will be greatly relieved. Life will start getting back to normal...(supply chain notwithstanding)

The good news is that Remesdivtar (sic) is undergoing Phase III trials. That is good news. Not a vaccine, but a very good cure.

But go ahead and keep making ostrich sounds. Myself, I am going to keep washing my hands and for now staying up here in the hills and avoid super spreaders of nonsense like you...

Pull your head out of your ass and start paying attention. Japan has closed all of their schools. Italy and China have quarantined millions of people. Shipping around the world is coming to a halt. But you’re mocking anyone who notices these things. I hope you’ll still be in denial WHEN this hits your city or family. Putz.
