Off topic a bit but it is weird that in Iran top officials are coming down with covid-19. Also deaths in Iran are running at 10% of infections. Agsin... weird.
They smoke like chimneys in Iran. Also I am sure their cities have air pollution problems. There is some sort of Shia religious festival going on in Qum. They don’t want to curtail it on religious grounds. So you have a uncontrolled concentration of people.
Pretty fertile ground for an respiratory disease epidemic.

A lot of the mullahs are old men (70+) and in poor shape anyway; it would be expected if they were exposed.
