I don’t believe he never bet against the Reds. I’m sure MLB doesn’t, either. He’s such a compulsive gambler and pathological liar that you can’t accept anything about him at face value.
I lived in Ohio at the time. They had the logs from his bookie. Never bet against the Reds based on the evidence presented by the prosecutor.
