Top New York City jail officials are concerned there could be another "Epstein incident" once convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein is behind bars on Rikers Island, according to multiple reports.
TMZ reported New York City Department of Correction bosses' fears, citing high-ranking officials who are afraid of an event similar to the death of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was found hanging from strips of orange bed sheets inside his jail cell in Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.
While it's up to the city's corrections department to decide where inmates are housed, Judge James Burke said he'd ask that Weinstein be placed in the Rikers Island's North Infirmary Command, where he'd have "something tantamount to protective custody."

Keep in mind, Weinstein has already been convicted so he would have already played his hand. Epstein was yet to be convicted and could still use his blackmail as a get out of jail ticket. He was still very dangerous to the Clintons and many more.

Weinstein has a body double? Someone will strangle his body double with piano wire, and deliver the corpse to the jail at 4 am, while nobody writes down the vehicle license plate, then Weinstein gets wheeled to the jail hospital at 430 am while the corpse gets wheeled into his cell at 500 am.
The guards hear noises at 715 am. Never figured out how a corpse, 4+ hours dead, can make noises. Maybe corpse complaining about the cameras being disabled making too much noise.
Weinstein’s life business is making movies. If Epstein had a few “blooper” reels for insurance, imagine what Weinstein might have for his private collection, or for insurance. Guys like this take souvenirs; it’s part of the profile.
