During the Democratic Debate in South Carolina, there were plenty of claims.
Mike Bloomberg let it slip that he "bought" off Congressional reps with his millions. Elizabeth Warren repeated her debunked, yet oft-spoken tale about being fired when she was pregnant.
And then there was Joe Biden. The former vice president claimed that 150 million people have died from "gun violence."
150 million people have been killed since 2007, when Bernie voted to exempt the gun manufacturers from liability. More than all the wars! Including Vietnam! From that point on, carnage on our streets, and I want to tell you, if I'm elected [turns awkwardly to camera and points], I'm coming for you, and gun manufacturers, I'm going to take you on and I'm going ... blurble [drowned out in cheers].
As of 2018, there were 327.2 million people in the United States of America. We're pretty sure than half of them didn't die of gun violence since 2007. Other viewers were pretty sure too.
One American News "Daily Ledger" host Graham Ledger said "WHAT?"
Katie Pavlich called old Joe's gun violence stats obviously "false":

Well, she would, but she's afraid that if she shows up on stage with Crazy Joe, he'll just start sucking her fingers again and only make things worse.
Joe Biden has a very tenuous grasp on reality, and it is slipping fast....
Off the rails? What rails? he has achieved orbital velocity, and shows no signs of returning to Earth any time soon.
Then, he wandered off, and it took two days to find him. He thought he was back in California, and was confused because none of the Oklahoma plants looked right.
Next stop was the nursing home.
That, coupled with a lifetime propensity for lying and embellishing is making it difficult for him to pull any real facts out of his brain.
I have to believe Joe will bow out after Super Tuesday losses. He can’t formulate a sentence for crying out loud.
If there are a little over 300 million in the U.S., and 150 million died from Biden gun shots, that means there would have been 450 million people total.
I lean a bit conservative and often fuss about liberals not knowing math. Us conservatives ought to be embarrassed at how many conservative outlets have wrongly stated Plugs said half died from gunshots. :)

Actually its 2007 b.c.e more than 4000 years ago. The gunshots include the deaths of Native Americans (AKA Indians), British, French, Dutch, and Spanish troops in all those wars until the American Revolution. Add that to the American losses in the Revolution + Civil War + Mexican + Spanish + Japanese attacks... and we can get to um... a high number.
Within the last 24 hours Biden has stated that (1) 150 million Americans have died as a result of gun violence and (2) he is running for the Senate in South Carolina.
Imagine being on his campaign team, you wouldn't know whether to laugh or cry....I guess if he keeps paying them thru Super Tuesday before he drop s out. They must be printing resumes faster than Nancy can chew marbles.
Brian Williams was at all those funerals, so it must be true. Half of us are dead!

Yeah, but Obammy said there were 57 states, so he probably meant all the deaths in those states . . .
He got that number from his son, who is the former Attorney General of the United States.
State of confusion?
