How come everyone here lives and dies by what Trump says except when he says this is under control and the stock market is looking mighty cheap?

We do have a strategic stockpile of masks and ventilators.
Having it under control doesn’t mean you don’t need to make more preparations to ensure that it stays under control.
It’s now expected that we need a bigger stockpile.
For the moment it does seem under control. But there was expert testimony to Congress last week that said to expect outbreaks in the US, because there is no way we are catching everyone.
Even if there are outbreaks in the US, it will likely remain under control for some time.
And while I think Trump probably shouldn’t give stock market advice, do you expect Trump to talk the market down?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a push for panic.
