It’s almost like Congress has - for decades - set this country up for something like this.
CDC has had DECADES to prepare for pandemics.....MILLIONS of dollars....and yet, here we are, today, without working testing kits (the ones we DO have, don’t work...and, CDC isn’t expecting to get properly working kits, until....mid-March!), and an inadequate supply of masks, for our healthcare workers.
CDC is full of leftist, 0blama holdovers, including the head of the respiratory division, Nancy Messonnier...who, I’ve read, happens to also be Rod Rosenstein’s sister.
You clearly do not understand how our healthcare system is run. They are ‘just in time”, just like a manufacturer. This time of year a normal hospital is working through their supply as the flu season ends. The supply chain bean counters would never allow a hospital to overstock.
Guess what? Flu season ain’t ending this year.

Don’t believe the hype. I work in the ER of a local hospital here in southern NJ. They go through facemasks and ventilators like nothing. No one is concerned about a shortage of anything.
