President Trump and CNN’s Jim Acosta had a testy exchange Tuesday over the issue of truthfulness during a news conference in India.
Acosta first asked the president if he could “pledge to the American people that you will not accept any foreign assistance in the upcoming election?”
“First of all, I want no help from any country,” Trump responded. “And I haven’t been given help from any country and if you see what CNN, your wonderful network, said, I guess they apologized in a way for — didn’t they apologize for the fact that they said certain things that weren’t true? Tell me, what was their apology yesterday? What did they say?”
“Mr. President,” Acosta replied, “I think our record on delivering the truth is a lot better than yours sometimes if you don’t mind me saying."
“Let me tell you about your record, your record is so bad you ought to be ashamed of yourself,” Trump continued. “You probably have the worst record in the history of broadcasting.”
“I’m not ashamed of anything and our organization is not ashamed,” Acosta replied.
Trump then got back to responding to his second question about replacing Joe Maguire as Acting Director of National Intelligence with Richard Grenell.
“On March 11 his time ended anyway, so his time came up,” Trump said. “So we would have had to, by statute, changed him anyway.”

Acosta always has the habit of tailing Trump wherever he goes.
Acosta would’ve been fired on the first episode of The Apprentice.
Acosta has learned nothing. He and his ilk were cutoff from this kind of showboating. As soon as he gets his first opportunity, he goes right back to showboating. Heading home soon Jimmy, back to screaming over Marine One’s engines for you.
If you remember, the Trump White House pulled his creds, but some fa tass leftist judge over-ruled that.
So I do not blame the Administration.
They’d bar him in a New York minute if they could get a fair break in the DC courts.
There’s got to be a way to have some young girl try to pull his microphone away. If he touches her, throw him off the bus or plane!
Preferably, the plane. In flight.
Drama queen Acosta is a big reason the WH gave up the regular weekly press briefings. Who needs to watch him mouth off (besides Acosta)?

Trump should ignore Acosta. Calling on him just gives him the platform he wants.
Why is this deranged stalker even recognized for a question when his only role is to embarrass or harass Trump? Why do this in a foreign country? Call the president a liar at a press conference in India?
Acosta is a POS and needs to be permanently banned from anywhere close to the POTUS>
Time to really give a good tug on Accosta’s choke collar. The man has no manners in representing our national press.
