Billionaire Mike Bloomberg has begun pushing out his trove of opposition research on rival Bernie Sanders, unleashing a scathing ad taking on the taking him on for his opposition to some gun control measures
Bloomberg on Monday launched a new online ad that blasts Sanders for multiple votes against the Brady Bill, a key handgun control measure, and for accepting support from the National Rifle Association.
Sanders has cited the views of gun owners in his rural state, as he did in a presidential debate – only to have Bloomberg use his defense in the ad. A Bloomberg release quotes a surrogate, former Baltimore mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake, saying Sanders is ‘not fighting for urban Americans at all.

The problem Bloomberg has, the people in the dem party he can persuade, probably were more likely Biden voters anyway. The Bernie people would hate some rich unlikable guy trying to convince them of anything.

That’s probably a good move on Bloomberg’s part. You can’t go after Sanders for being a commie, because most people on the left are commies themselves. So you might as well use the gun issue.

Bernie will strip all the wealth from Bloomie’s assets in just a couple years.
In fact, every one who has millions of dollars in assets will be bled dry in a couple years.

And this is the really weak point in ANY pitch the Democrats, regardless of the candidate, might make to voters, of whom they believe to be so low-information, NOBODY will look up and find that, yes indeed, the Democrat has in fact, at one time or another, been on both sides of just about every legislative wrangle that has taken place in Congress, switching as the wind blows.
Coming down solidly on both sides of the fence can be pretty damaging, especially if the fence is topped with barbed wire.

Since he’s so rich and his taxes are so complicated (too complicated for Turbotax) does he think that Donald Trump, who is also too complicated for Turbotax, has been treated fairly by all of the media types and politicians hounding him over his tax returns?

Bernie is from Vermont, where it is normal for the country folks to own guns.

Sanders wants to take away our guns by making it impossible to buy them by destroying our wealth, and keeping guns in the hands of the government to enforce his policies.

They are both Leftists and they both end up at the same destination, perhaps by different paths. But that is about it.
The DNC has tasked Mikey Mouse to take Bernie out or at least damage him enough so when they screw him it won’t be so obvious.
