MSNBC's Joe Scarborough on Monday called on Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) to get out of the 2020 race for the Democratic presidential nomination, with the "Morning Joe" co-host arguing that it would help "consolidate efforts against Bernie Sanders" by other candidates.
"People are talking about how as well as she’s done, as good of a campaign she’s run, it is time for her to get out of the race," Scaborough said of Klobuchar before pivoting to Warren. "A lot of people starting to talk about Elizabeth Warren, who finished weak again."
"She finished in fourth place in her neighboring home state where she was supposed to win in New Hampshire last week. This week another disappointing finish. She’s maybe in single digits. She’s up to 10 percent now, but she’s in single digits in most of these counts," he continued. "
"Is it time for Elizabeth Warren? If she keeps finishing in fourth, fifth place, is it time to her to get out of the race to help consolidate efforts against Bernie Sanders? That’s what a lot of buzz on Twitter suggesting that’s the case," Scarborough concluded.

It’s obvious Deliverance Banjo Boy wants either Creepy Joe or Mini Mike as the Regressive ‘RAT nominee. If so, why didn’t he call on Buttplug or Steyer to drop out?
Seems to me that Warren’s supporters are far more likely to support Sanders than the autocratic dwarf.
Steyer is still running big dollar ads, pulling some black voters away from Biden.
If Biden wins the first primary of his life (in South Carolina—after decades of trying) it will be by the narrowest of margins and will just keep the zombie in a slow walk through Super Tuesday (where Biden has zero advertising dollars).
The old saying is that you can't beat somebody with nobody. So far the anti-Sanders forces just have several nobodies. Maybe the Hildabeast will come to their rescue. Or perhaps one of the failures from yesteryear--Al Gore or John Kerry. Both of them are veterans, you know. John Kerry was even sent to Cambodia by President-Elect Nixon in December 1968.

It’s funny, but each time I see a Steyer ad, I ask myself...”Is he still in this race?”. I have to remind myself that the recent story about him dropping out was fake.

The dirty little secret is a lot of democrats are liberal on social issues but much more moderate on economic issues. They have no more desire to see Bernie Sanders raise their taxes or crash the stock market than we do. I’m guessing if Bernie secures the nomination we are going to start hearing some whispers from the more moderate wing of the democrat party that...perhaps...Trump getting four more years isn’t the worst thing that could happen and democrats should concentrate instead on holding the House and taking the Senate.
She sits there and does nothing while womyn are being viciously attacked—she is a traitor to her gender! ;-)_

The problem with that strategy is turnout.
Folks who are not excited about their presidential candidate don’t vote in high enough numbers to turn any other reasonable close race. That is the dirty little secret about “coat-tails”. The non-voters of the losing party are just as important as the additional voters of the winning party.
2016 was the classic example, where blacks in MI and WI failed to turn out for Hillary, which in turn doomed the down ticket Democrats.
Clearly Scarborough thinks he can treat female candidates the way he treats female interns.
Gay beats gender, it would appear.

Makes some sense for the Dems to rally around Sanders now and avoid a brutal primary season. The media then will get onboard and give him top cover like they did for Obama.

Cruz had no more hope of winning in 2016 than ¡YEB! did.
