JetBlue has signed on to a new credit facility that is priced according to its performance on environmental and social matters, the first of its kind in the airline industry.

The carrier’s $550m sustainability-linked loan, which was set up by French bank BNP Paribas, gives it a financial incentive to follow through on its public commitment to reduce its carbon footprint. The margin the airline pays will go up or down in conjunction with its environmental, social and governance (ESG) score as determined by Vigeo Eiris, a Paris-based sustainability research group that was recently acquired by Moody’s.

Nothing like solar powered planes. Made of hemp of course. Curious as to how the power is transmitted from one location to another. I mean if you’re going green by golly due it with a true commitment. So, how FOS are these assclowns? Max’d out. Maybe a name change to PANDERBEAR AIR would be appropriate.

Continuing the goal to implement reverse capitalism

Where profit can only be made by serving the government - not the customer.

I don’t see how this fund can stay solvent. It’s fiscally irresponsible.

“What can be deduced about the management and future of that airline?”

that they are totally desperate for ANY kind of loan from anyone anywhere with any kind of insane conditions ... which means they must be in REALLY bad shape financially, and this will be the last loan they receive until they get that big debtor-in-possession bankruptcy loan ...
