How deadly is the coronavirus?
Based on data from 44,000 patients with this coronavirus, the WHO says:
81% develop mild symptoms.
14% develop severe symptoms
5% become critically ill.
The proportion dying from the disease, which has been named Covid-19, appears low (between 1% and 2%) - but the figures are unreliable.
Thousands are still being treated but may go on to die - so the death rate could be higher.
The above provides a strong measure of sanity to the problem which should not be understated.
Problem is it's the WHO,World Health Organization, providing the stats whose entire credibility is on the line. So we are in a wait and see situation hoping to get some good stats on what is really happening worldwide.

But, here it is summed up: East Asians has an 80+ infection rate, a high death rate, while the Caucasian and Negroid races had far less, 50% infection rate, and very low death rate.
Plus 85% of Chinese men smoke, and their cities, like Wuhan, are full of clouds of coal-ash.
