A man from Greece (NY) is facing federal charges for allegedly threatening to kill Senator Chuck Schumer and Congressman Adam Schiff.
Federal prosecutors say earlier this year both Schumer and Schiff received threatening voicemails that contained death threats.

Funny (and like all of the stories undocumented) story :
In one version of the story, a scout reported of Castro:“Lots of enthusiasm, not much of an arm. Suggest he go into another business.”
In another version, though, various teams were said to have sent some players down for a batting practice to test him (during one of which Castro struck out future Hall-of-Famer Hank Greenberg). According to some versions, Castro was offered a tryout with either the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Washington Senators, or the New York Yankees, but failed to make the cut–and, in bitterness and resentment, became intensely anti-American.

According to court papers, Lippa left a threatening voicemail
for at Schiff’s Washington D.C. office on Jan. 23 at 8:20 p.m.
“Schiff, Shifty Schiff, you’re the biggest [expletive] scumbag
[expletive] who ever lived. I dare you to come, I dare you to come
to New York, because I will put a bullet in your [expletive] forehead.
You [expletive] scumbag piece of [expletive]. You got that?
And you can look up my phone number. And you think I’m [expletive] joking?
I’ll come to Washington and kill you, you [expletive]”
On Feb. 4, prosecutors say Lippa called Schumer’s Albany office
left another threatening message.
“Hey Schumer, you and Nancy Pelosi are two [expletive] biggest scumbags
who ever lived. And let me tell you something, somebody wants to
assassinate you, I’m going to be the driver. And he’ll shoot you
from 200 yards away. I [expletive] promise you, you [expletive]
totally little [expletive] Democrats scumbag [expletive].”

On the radio something about “threatening a gov’t official in their carrying out of duties” or some hogwash
no he’s actually pro-trump. Greece is a very large suburb in upstate NY which for the most part is solidly conservative republican
