Thats a good point. When I was a senior manager in a STEM field I noticed an unmistakable trend over time. Over the last 10-15 years I saw a growing number of entry-level job applicants who fit a predictable profile: age 24-27, masters degree, and impressive grades ... but NEVER WORKED EVEN A PART-TIME JOB BEFORE.
That would be my daughter. She has a brain injury and had seizures. High school was all about controlling them and getting used to more meds and having trouble with meds.
In college, she got to go off of the meds, but it was hard to go to college and get a job.
She’s been done with college since August and no luck getting anything.
