I know the reasons, but I’m having cognitive dissonance over why this is not a mega-scandal. FBI gives classified anti-Trump dirt to an agent they know is being paid by Trump’s opponent, Hillary Clinton, AND they even pay him for the privilege.

It’s much bigger than Spygate.
BOTH parties cooperated to violate the Constitution.
All of them are terrified that if anyone from the Kenyanesian Usurpation is prosecuted the entire thing unravels and exposes our entire government, both parties, as corrupt to its core.

They paid Steele so that he could be claimed to be an asset, and protected from investigations by Congress.
Steele had no earthly idea what was in the damn dossier. Most likely didn’t even read it, just cashed the check.
