Not true.

I have been critical of China’s TRADE policies, basically for years, right here on this site.

But I won’t criticize their handling of this crisis. They seem to be handling a TERRIBLE mess, resolutely and effectively.

China does not emphasize individual freedoms, the way we do in America. But the apparent fact that China’s new hospital rooms open and lock from the outside is in my view, just China being careful.

There is currently no effective treatment for the disease.

You don’t want 1,000 patients to just go wherever they want whenever they want.

Not when the disease is fatal to some, and there is absolutely no effective treatment, and nobody whatsoever, has any immunity.

Nobody.

It is to be avoided.

Really. I think that is why. Everyone is a bit scared.

For good reason.

There could be a perimeter around the hospital so every room would not have to lock from the outside. So that is a wrong argument.

If they'd been allowed to be honest at the beginning, they could have contained it at the source, rather than local party officials lying about what happened long enough for itto gain a foothold.

If they weren't a bunch of totalitarian dictators, they wouldn't have stolen a bioweapon from a Western lab.

And if they cared about their citizens, they wouldn't have such awful pollution to weaken their citizens' lungs.

If they weren't a bunch of rote-memorization lying thieving douchebags, who cut corners on everything they imitate, but without real understanding, they wouldn't have had it escape from their lab.

As I saw on another site, "Chan! You can't just go stealing bioweapons from the West like you do nuclear secrets! Those weapons were designed to be used on US!"

sorry is true in this situation, many videos of the inside of these facilities, once in you either live or die - no toilets, no doctors, no nurses, no medicines, doors open in but not out and are chained shut, beds are 2-3 feet apart no partitions - they are not hospitals which only admit non-infected else die in long lines outside.

Effective: if you believe their propaganda and dont mind seeing people shot, chained apartment doors, thrown in vans n hauled away, or the stench of 49 crematoriums going 24/7 while still more bodies pile up awaiting pick up.
