Wade said that he and Union are "proud ... parents of a child in the LGBTQ....
it is ok. the 12 year old did a lot of research on the internet and figured out who he really wanted to be...
i feel so sorry for this family and strongly feel that fighting the delusion is the only way to help those one loves.

A 12 year old cannot legally give consent to anything, but they can decide what sex they are.

And that’s the irrationality of it. Gender is defined as either of the two sexes (male and female), especially when considered with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones. If the individual wished to act, and with help, look like the other gender, that can be accomplished because the public has allowed the transition from male/female to a lifestyle.
A man can’t become a woman because he can’t do the only thing different from everyone else, create a child from a womb. And a woman can’t be come a man as it cannot produce the fertilizing sperm to create. It is medically impossible.
And please understand me, surgical procedures can not reverse the sex, just mutilate the body. And the attempt to become an opposite sex doesn’t exist and there is no medical proof that a person is born with the wrong sex, just the wrong “chosen” lifestyle. It is psychological, not medical.

12 - 14 can be a difficult age for kids. Especially boys.
Sounds to me like giving up is an easier out for the parents, and they have support for their friends in deciding to do nothing, & let a 12 yr old make a life changing decision.
Attention hog, using his child to get attention. He ought to be ashamed.

I have a good friend whose teenage daughter pulled this same stunt. It has put him through hell, but the daughter got what she wanted... attention from everyone.

What if the child wants to reverse it’s decision?
Get the child to declare just after being born.
He (a real boy) touched a blue blanket. He declares as a boy, and that cannot be reversed.
I cannot understand being proud of child abuse, even if it makes you popular with the coolest of the woke kids.
