Pakistan is Indo-Asian not Arabic. The official language, Urdu, is similar to Hindi but uses the Arabic alphabet instead of the Sanskrit one. Hindi and Urdu are so similar that the respective speakers can understand each other even if they cannot read each other’s language. The language is classified as Indo-European as is Persian/Farsi the language of Iran.
