JUSTICE DEPARTMENTPublished 2 hours ago Barr taps network of prosecutors to review Russia-Ukraine cases

Attorney General Bill Barr has tapped a growing number of federal prosecutors across the country to review high-profile Russia probes involving Trump associates and consider emerging allegations tied to Ukraine, in a bold but risky move that comes as he faces mounting criticism and even resignation calls from congressional Democrats who allege he's protecting the president.

Meanwhile, Barr has tapped other several federal prosecutors to review DOJ cases.

Last week, Barr confirmed that the Justice Department was reviewing information about Ukraine coming to the agency from the president’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and others. Barr has tapped U.S. Attorney Scott Brady from Pittsburgh to handle the Ukraine information, Fox News has learned.

That review comes after the president was acquitted on charges—abuse of power and obstruction of Congress—stemming from the Ukraine controversy.

Giuliani for months has focused on the circumstances surrounding Hunter Biden’s past board position with Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings and his father Joe Biden’s role in ousting a prosecutor who had been looking into the firm’s founder. The impeachment of Trump focused largely on his efforts to press Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate that issue.

Trump’s second term is going to be interesting. How about Ken Starr as special prosecutor investigating DOJ?

Barr is this week’s DNC/Fake News contrived boogeyman. They’re out of narratives, since “ impeachment “ blew up in their collective faces.

John Durham will be next for the slander mongers.

I don’t remember ANY of these “respected” career DOJ employees signing any petition in protest when the AG Loretta Lynch met with Clinton in an unannounced session aboard his private jet at the Phoenix Airport when his wife was under criminal investigation. I don’t remember any of these phonies signing a petition when AG Eric Holder was held in contempt of Congress twice suggesting this clown should resign. I guess it depends on who is the AG and what their politics are for the likes of Watergate “prosecutor” Jill Wine Volner and her ideological cohorts to get their panties twisted, just as they pushed Richard Nixon out of office for some break-in he had nothing to do with yet eight people turned up dead on the LBJ Ranch over time and it made no impact on them whatever.

Yes but on specific charges ONLY. MCabe isn’t out of the woods. He’s not even within flying distance out. His goose will be cooked well done, and all this crap he spews on CNN isn’t helping him at all.

McCabe skates - for now. But there has only been a partial review of his transgressions and misdeeds.

Like a kernel of popcorn that was not popped when first put in the microwave, but recycled, and who knows? He might get fully popped this time, or at least seriously parched.

Barr signed off on letting McCabe skate.

—————.

Barr did no such thing

He declined to prosecute McCabe for lying about leaking information

If the leaks were not illegal Barr did the right thing

If the leaks were illegal, why prosecute McCabe for lying about breaking the law when you can prosecute him for actually breaking the law

The lying charge was a set up by Jessie Liu’s Washington mafia and Barr did not take the bait. Good for him
