Sunday’s prelims were spectacular!
Seeing the AF 1 flyby, the POTUS/FLOTUS entry & opening ceremony and watching the “Beast” take a parade lap was special!
Yesterday’s opening, not so much.
Between wrecks (i.e., racing accidents) the race yesterday was typical boring Daytona FReight train stuff.
IMHO, Denny Hamlin should be disqualified for wrecking Ryan Newman! And fined BIGLY!

Probably less carnon emmitted in tbe Daytona 500 than by all the private jets and limos carrying celebreties to climate change conferences.
On Sunday, one of our friends was at the 500 and PDJT’s motorcade came right past him and his buddies returning to the infield and PDJT gave them a thumbs up. He got some video and freeze framed the thumb. Awesome!
