Republican congressional candidate Claire Chase is demonstrating her opposition to a proposed New Mexico gun law in a new campaign commercial obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller.
The advertisement shows Chase shooting a .308 at a red flag, and touting her support for the 2nd Amendment.
I have a few words about the so-called red flag law that liberals in Santa Fe are pushing, Chase says in the video. This piece of legislation is an attack on our Constitutional rights that would make innocent until proven guilty into guilty until proven innocent.

I think a whole lot of us were in that same boat, some now just to ashamed to admit it.
I was for Ted Cruz when that whole 2016 mashup started, got on the trump train after the second debate, then in October bought a first class ticket, 500 dollar (I ain’t rich but I do what I can afford) campaign contribution to TRUMP.
Been riding in First Class ever since.
This is kind of funny. Back in my day, at the military qualifying ranges, the red flag only went up when you completely missed the target when it was pulled down. In no way would you ever be allowed to shoot at the flag. They called it “Maggie’s drawers” when the target was being marked.
Without ear protectors or safety glasses. Here she wasn’t even loking down the scope. This is just a pose for a photo-op, eh?

LOL! I'm withholding any further comment........
As to someone’s questioning of wording in the article about a “.50”. Just a simple obs that the mag ain’t big enough to be a “.50”. Or a .56 even.

Yep. I won’t hold others to a purity test that I myself would fail. In fact, I don’t like purity tests at all. If someone says they are on our side and has held reasonable positions for an extended period, I’m good.
“Claire Chase, a GOP candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in New Mexicos Second Congressional District, called President Donald Trump an a**hole unworthy of the office of the presidency in a Facebook post in August 2015.”
