DOJ won't charge former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe

The Department of Justice (DOJ) will no longer pursue criminal charges against former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, closing a high-profile case against the former official whose conduct during the 2016 election came under intense scrutiny.

"We write to inform you that, after careful consideration, the Government has decided not to pursue criminal charges against your client, Andrew G. McCabe, arising from the referral by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) to our Office of conduct,” wrote two officials from the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office. "Based on the totality of the circumstances and all of the information known to the Government at this time, we consider the matter closed."

Lawyers for McCabe — Michael Bromwich and David Schertler — celebrated the news, saying that McCabe and his family "can go on with their lives without this cloud hanging over them.”

CUT ALL TAXES.
REDUCE ALL GOVERNMENT.

Cannot reform.
Can only hope to reduce.

And that’s a damn slim hope...

Before it comes to that we need to start taking the FBI down by nonviolent means.

If an FBI agent wants to talk to you simply REFUSE. Even if they claim they are hot on the trail of the next Bin Laden. Likely you’re just opening yourself up for a process crime charge anyhow.

And if seated on a jury where ANY of the evidence passed through FBI hands you MUST vote to acquit.

If they can’t conduct investigations, and they can’t get convictions, they’ll cease to exist.

Great post.

Why weren't Cory & Bannon et al fully apprised of the need to have private security available for Trump appointees?

There are myriads of private security companies available for hire, if 4 or 5 heavys had been in Manafort's or Stone's home when the FBI came calling, the bastards would not have done hard entry. And if Manafart had been prepared you would not have seen Stone's spectacle.

Also why did Manafort and Stone not have their house totally wired up for surveil? Stone in particular would have gotten a shitton of leverage out of FBI hard entry, especially with Wray ONSITE and CNN ONSITE.

Can you imagine how hard you could have flipped that script after that bullshit raid if you had 4K night-seeking cameras with pos ID on Wray and CNN's Shortell and De La Rosa???

Let this be a lesson to every Freeper who might eventually poke their head above the line -- encase your home with surveil, provide backup power to same, and redundancy is your friend.

A guy doesn’t get where Barr is by being a revolutionary and a private citizen just showing up for an interview as head of DOJ. Barr is the ultimate status quo worshipping deep statist. Trump should fire him if McCabe or Yates, Comey, Strozk, Mueller, Page, Obama, Rice, Clinton or dozens of lower level seditionists and coup plotters skate.

Ok FR turd polishers, do your thing.

My favorite so far is that McCabe will be charged in another case - um, um, er, oh! Filing a False FISA !!! or - “But Qanon said “Watch what happens next!” “ “It’s 4D chess”!

Barr needs to go away

today

So who thinks the DOJ still needs to be independent? They have too much power and need to be only of the most tightly regulated, transparent department in the government.

The DOJ attracts sociopaths precisely because it’s independent.

The FBI and DOJ are horse shit/
NO reason to trust or work with either of these outfits as they are not worth a thimble of spit.
Zero reason to trust either.
NO such thing as a good FBI agent.
No such thing as an admirable DOJ.
Hell, Just look at these goon squads letting the Clintoon crime syndicate skate for decades.
