George Soros seems to really get it, about China.

Why do you find that confusing?

The entire Soros program of abolishing nations and other unchosen associations, atomizing individuals into debt slaves who consume product and tolerate globohomo corporations destroying their communities while making bankers fantastically wealthy is diametrically opposed to the semi-fascist Chinese nationalist state run by Xi Jinping.

Xi Jinping thought is a major threat to the whole Soros program, maybe the only serious threat to Soros which is left.

Why wouldn't they be enemies?

Perhaps he sees Chinese communism as a threat to the European and American communism that he is working to enact. Chinese and Russian communists did not like each other.

Both Hitler and Stalin were socialist. Their main difference was in who was to be in charge. Soros, and the hidden people behind Soros, have no interest in serving Xi.

George Soros seems to really get it, about China.

He's only admitting that he sees china as a rival to his globalist hegemon dreams. soros and his cult want to rule the world using PLA-style total surveillance and control tactics, but they don't want the chinese to be the ones ruling the world.

Do not be too surprised that George Soros “gets it” about China.

The Soros empire was built on raiding the the central banks of various nations, by currency manipulations, and reaping the rewards in gold bullion, after devastating the market value of that currency. He and his organization have been under investigation and/or indictment for these currency manipulations, many for years standing, by the victimized countries.

In China, Soros has met a “worthy” adversary. Before Soros could get his hooks into Chinese central banking, the Chinese had already done their OWN currency manipulation (which is an ongoing thing), largely crowding out these international money traffickers.

A con man who respects and admires the con when it is worked by others.

Forget the ideologies. They are only masks for oligarchies competing for global domination. Different methods seeking the same result.

Soros might have realized that Xi is not really his partner, and certainly not his subordinate.

"...since Xi became president and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), he has established a regime whose guiding principles are diametrically opposed to the values on which the European Union was founded..."

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! What a crock.

More like China is a competitor for Soros' world view.

The West has been bamboozled into believing a completely different narrative about China. Essentially they are an overcrowded, extremely polluted, third world SHITHOLE with skyscrapers, high speed internet, nukes, and lowlifes selling lab bats from a BSL-4 bio facility to the local food market to make a quick yuan off the books. (I know, why would someone do that when communism is so GREAT!)

So we get Trotsky instead of Lenin if Soros has his way.

Doesn’t sound like much of an improvement to me.

Consider that Soros manipulates a lot of small countries by leveraging their weak economies. He also attempts to manipulate larger countries and conglomerations (like the EU) by financing political movements within those countries. Ask yourself how well either of those techniques might work against Communist China. Answer: not at all.

Soros is taking a (Brexit-ing) swipe at Boris Johnson, who has a problem of filling an economic hole in Britain’s economic boat. It’s understandable that Johnson would be cozying up to both the US & China as they lead trade blocks powerful enough to help offset the loss of the local trading block (EU).

Incidentally, Johnson has to be worried about the kind of currency-manipulation that Soros specializes in.
