Students at a Chicago high school held a sit-in Wednesday in protest after a teacher allegedly told a Latino student last month to "go back to your country when she and others declined to stand for the national anthem during an assembly.
Mary Beck, the school's principal, addressed students during the protest at Nicholas Senn High School, saying she had notified the school district soon after receiving a report of the teacher's alleged comment.
"I notified everybody within three hours of receiving the report. It is all in writing," Beck said in a video posted to Twitter. "It is all time-stamped. I did my job. I continue to follow through based on the guidelines and policies that we have in place. Every time."
Students shouted back in an apparent reference to the teacher, So why is he still here?

The children are now thugs who believe they have the right to bully and strong-arm administrators and have them accede to their demands.
'Empowering' students has backfired on liberal school teachers.
The teacher in question is not identified by race or ethnicity.
All this fuss over a flag </michelle my belle obama>
Should check their immigration status then; defense lawyer will have ICE standing by.
Because he did nothing wrong.
It is not against the law to sit during the anthem.
I think we have learned that saying "go back to your country" is now a good way to get fired these days.
So why is the student who didn't stand for the anthem still here?
The answers to both of those questions should be the same.
Nor is it against the law to tell somebody to go back to their country.
However, it is most likely against some school policy and the teacher will be disciplined/fired.
If this was a student from Ireland it wouldnt even make the news.
Government run public schools are un-American.
Funny how the mediapukes have time to write about this ILLEGAL thug but God forbid if they should report on the biased antitrump juror on the Roger Stone trial jury!!!
She said one of the teachers then asked another senior if she was eligible for free or reduced lunch. After that student said "yes," the teacher said she should stand because people had died for this country.
I see...it's okay to take a gov't free lunch, but not okay to respect its flag. If they don't like what the gov't stands for, that's their right. But likewise, it's our right to revoke the privileges that are tied to that gov't. Time to make this protest nonsense cost something to those who do it.+

Who would ever admit to such a provenance?
In what nation was the student born?
Wow. "Don't fire me! I followed the book! I documented all of it!"
When I was in grammar school, junior high, and high school--all public schools--every morning we pledged allegiance to the Flag, sang the National Anthem, and said the Lord's Prayer.
In the first grade, I was elected President of the Class, and I led these morning exercises.
In high school, we had ROTC. Two or three time a week, the boys wore military uniforms to school, drilled on the playground, and carried M1 rifles. For a time I was on the crack drill team. We studied riflery and gun safety. There was a firing range in the school. We learned to fire rifles in the prone, sitting, and standing positions, and fired at targets. It was important to get a small grouping of bullet holed in the target.
This is amazingly true.
