"Donald Trump, the racist, sexist, xenophobic candidate of the Republican alt-right, has been elected President of the United States. ... Today, so many Americans are mourning the death of American goodness," asserted the HuffPost.
For the Democrats who could not accept the new reality, it was not just time to mourn, but time to resist and act.
Act they did. The campaign to impeach Trump started right when he was sworn into office and continued throughout his term. They launched a Mueller investigation, trying to prove that Trump was a Kremlin puppet, and failed. They made a partisan attempt to impeach him in an election year and failed again. To fight him, the leftist establishment carried out a total mobilization, gathering under its banners everyone even remotely fit for recruiting, from swanky Hollywood celebrities to stone-cold Washington bureaucrats, from billionaires Michael Bloomberg and George Soros to violent masked Antifa gangs, from loud-mouthed liberal media to the most influential think-tanks. Now, eight months before the November election, this patchy coalition seems unable to stop the Trump Train.

Joe is likely to be playing with his toes in an upscale retirement home with locks on the outsides of the doors by then and Liz will be screeching that she's 1/1024 Zulu and threatening her debate opponents with a spear, but Bernie will still be pleading for another chance to turn America into Pol Pot's Cambodia. And there will be a new generation of college students who will think that it sounds like a good idea.

There is one unknown that could impact the election and that is a worldwide pandemic. Recall how Bush got blown away by a hurricane where he was not at fault at all. The braying press managed to associate him with a 100% Democrat caused disaster. Even though the Dems have attacked every reasonable thing Trump has done to keep us safe, their toadies in the press could do the same thing to him they did to Bush after Katrina.
Side Bar Info: POTUS, Donald J. Trump, his wife Melania and Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis will attend the “NASCAR” Daytona 500 Race this coming Sunday. Yet the media has lost virtually all it’s credibility and I see that millions out there have and continue to learn to fight back against the Left. And they have learned to fight from Trump.
Why is attendance at the Democrat rallies a fraction of what Trump draws? If the media is so all powerful why do they find it necessary to make up dirt on the President?
The rabid Left we see and hear of thru the megaphone of the media in reality represents but a small % of this country and although I believe we must continually fight them I really don’t believe when the sh*t hits the fan they will come close to winning.
