Here’s What The Lead Roger Stone Juror Said During Jury Selection

A former Democratic congressional candidate revealed Wednesday that she was the foreperson on the jury that convicted Roger Stone.

Tomeka Hart said during the jury selection process that she did not “pay that close attention” to developments in the Russia investigation. She also said that Stone’s links to President Donald Trump would “absolutely not” affect her views at trial.

But Hart’s social media posts show that she was closely tuned in to the Russia probe and that she considered Trump and his supporters to be racist.

When Tomeka Hart was interviewed during the jury selection process as part of the Roger Stone trial, the former Democratic congressional candidate said she was generally aware of developments in the Russia investigation, but that she didn’t “pay that close attention” to the probe.

She also insisted that Stone’s affiliation with President Donald Trump would “absolutely not” color her views of the longtime Trump confidante, according to a copy of a court transcript obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“You’ve also indicated a fair amount of paying attention to news and social media including about political things?” Judge Amy Berman Jackson asked Hart.

“Yes,” she replied.

“And when we asked what you read or heard about the defendant, you do understand that he was involved in Mr. Trump’s campaign in some way?” Jackson asked.

“Yes,” she said.

“Is there anything about that that affects your ability to judge him fairly and impartially sitting here right now in this courtroom?” Jackson queried.

“Absolutely not,” Hart answered.

“What is it that you have read or heard about him?” asked Jackson.

“So nothing that I can recall specifically,” Hart replied. “I do watch sometimes paying attention but sometimes in the background CNN.”

“So I recall just hearing about him being part of the campaign and some belief or reporting around interaction with the Russian probe and interaction with him and people in the country, but I don’t have a whole lot of details. I don’t pay that close attention or watch C-SPAN,” she continued.

“Can you kind of wipe the slate clean and learn what you need to learn in this case from the evidence presented in the courtroom and no other source?” Jackson asked, to which Hart responded, “Yes.”

So she lied. Why any one is shocked is a good question, indeed.

Both Judge Berman and jury forewoman (foreman), Tomeka Hart, have serious problems, IMHO.

Just as the seriousness of the charges only goes one way the magnanimity of the exonerations goes the other.

Hillary Clinton could have been found standing over Seth Rich’s body in the hospital cursing out her inept hit men by name and the Left would say she was a victim of a right wing conspiracy.

She tweeted (before getting on the jury) that she didn’t care about the way Stone was arrested because blacks are constantly being murdered by police.

Also said that all supporters of Trump are racist.

And she was tweeting stuff about the Mueller probe and crazy stories that Trump associates were involved with Russia.

But she lied about that and told the judge that of course her political viewpoints would not prejudice her in the case.

What a nightmare.

She probably wanted to execute him, but was talked out of it by a couple of the other jurors

I want to know how Stone ended up that Obongo hack judge. The worst of the worst now It turns out this rat tool was the foreman. This whole case screams mistrial.

Perjured herself. Made a mockery of the courtroom. Of course the lefty judge will do nothing even though she disgraced her courtroom.

There was something weird about the selection process. What Stone said about the process over a year ago.

“Through legal trickery Deep State hitman Robert Mueller has guaranteed that my upcoming show trial is before Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an Obama appointed Judge who dismissed the Benghazi charges against Hillary Clinton and incarcerated Paul Manafort prior to his conviction for any crime.”

There should be a dismissal just based on jury misconduct alone

So a high profile case and the lawyer didn’t even do a quick online search of the potential jury members. Seems a quick check would have disqualified her.

I wonder if any peremptory challenges were used by either side before her selection...
