I live in the state with the highest Indian population per capita in the United States. The building where I live is at least 1/3 Indian which is low for the area. Generally like and respect but they tend to be “conservatives of the heart and liberals in the brain.”
We’ve got one on the city council in Seattle. She’s a mess. Came here with her millionaire Microsoft husband, who she divorced and took to the cleaners.
Now she’s busy making Seattle a crime spree.
They also tend to bring a ‘class’ system with them, along with some of their backward ideas about women and marriage. The whole ‘dowry’ thing is just repugnant.
Many that become managers at companies then start to only hire other Indians. They still look down on you.
