WASHINGTON - A federal judge has rejected a request by U.S. President Donald Trump ally Roger Stone for a new trial, according to a court filing released on Wednesday, a day after a Justice Department reversal over sentencing prompted prosecutors to resign from the case.
U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson, in a Feb. 5 order, said the Republican operative’s lawyers had “not presented grounds for a new trial ... or any reason to believe there has been ‘a serious miscarriage of justice.’”

Judge Amy Berman Jackson is probably the worst Obongo hack in the system. This horrible woman is not just a Judge she is a rat operative and the best example of what an idiotic statement Roberts made about there being no “Obama Judges”. Of course she denied.
Trump should just pardon Stone and be done with, what are the democrats going to do about it? Impeach him again?

A motion for a retrial is part of the process of creating a record for the appeals process. You cannot appeal an issue not raised in the lower court and so it lets you get those issues on the record.
