WASHINGTON - A federal judge has rejected a request by U.S. President Donald Trump ally Roger Stone for a new trial, according to a court filing released on Wednesday, a day after a Justice Department reversal over sentencing prompted prosecutors to resign from the case.

can’t really argue with this. The guy actually documented his actions. He definitely lied to congress under oath, he definitely lied to the prosecutors, and he definitely threatened a witness.
He had every right to refuse to testify, and thumb his nose. It made no sense for him to go to congress and lie about something that wasn’t even a crime. It just made things look worse.
The witness says he did not feel threatened.
Here is the witness, a talk show host who has known Stone since 2002. Obviously if he doesn’t take Stone’s threat to take the dog seriously [he described it as hyperbole] then he was never in fear of his life, either:
I dont think he was going to steal my dog. I think he was pretty riled up at that time, Credico acknowledged during cross-examination from Bushchel, the Stone lawyer.
I know he wouldnt have ever touched that dog. It was hyperbole by him.
Does he love my dog? I think he loves all dogs. I dont think he would steal a dog, no, Credico added. —— The Prosecutions Star Witness in Roger Stones Trial Proved Difficult

Ms. Willey said the guy was so creepy that she came to the conclusion he’d been hired to intimidate her, and he’d started by killing her cat. Some time later she had another cat, a particularly fluffy 1-year-old, that turned up dead on her deck ...
Maybe Bianca the dog has a teeny bit of Franzuskaya Bolonka blood in her.
