Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez on Wednesday said he wants to talk about caucus reform and review the status of the primary cycle to reflect a more diverse voter base and representative candidates.
"I think the time is ripe for that conversation, Perez said in an appearance on CNN. I want to make sure that we reflect the grand diversity of our party in everything we do.
"The candidate who is going to win this race ... is the candidate who does the best job bringing together this entire diverse coalition of the Democratic Party," he said. "African American voters are the backbone of the Democratic Party."
The chairman notes that after the 2016 election cycle, questions surrounded the idea of superdelegate reform as well as primary and caucus reformations.

"The candidates who remain understand that civil rights is core to who we are as Democrats," he said. "Diversity and inclusion is not an idle set of words for Democrats; it's our DNA."

When they lose the presidency, we're inundated with opinion pieces on why the electoral college is 'out-of-date'.
Perez wants to 'reexamine [the] order of state primaries' to reflect 'diversity'. What state will he move to the head of the line? California? New York?
We will see more articles like this:
Washington Post: Theres only one way to fix caucuses like Iowas: Get rid of them
Huffington Post: The Iowa Caucus Is Trash And We Should Get Rid Of It: More like Bye-owa, caucus.
Wah. We don’t like what we got from voters, so let’s change voting.
Yeah. That must be it.
“My guy is losing — can we change the rules?”
Translation? Get rid of all-white states, stupid.

Mr. Perez has been lost in the fog for years. He will make many excuses to justify his position.
Rotating regional primaries have always been the answer. Heck of a way to come to a conclusion that the current system is not good.
That’s right. Keep sticking it to flyover country.
These idiots really are Spaceballs.
“African American voters are the backbone of the Democratic Party.”
Oh Boy, here we go....
Interesting story about what Dems were saying BEFORE the fiasco:

I’ve said it before...
The best first place to hold a primary is Missouri.
It has inner cities (KC and St Louis).
It has suburbs.
It has medium-sized cities like Springfield, Columbia, etc.
The northern part of the state identifies with the Midwest.
The southern part of the state identifies with the South.
If you want to capture a state that is more representative of America, this would be a good place to start.
They’ve been lying to Blacks for decades, now they have socialist candidates who Blacks don’t support and they are realizing that Blacks are the “backbone” of their votes and if that goes away so does their chances of getting elected.
“All those in favor of making Iowa dead last, say aye.”
No Conchs. No Cajuns.
None of those people who live around the Salton Sea.
Can’t leave them out of the equation.
Aye.
I'll take 'Pandering' for $500, Alex.
Excessive concern with diversity, as an end in itself, dat be raysis. Racism is the result of the combination of three irrational components, collectivism, determinism, and subjectivism. Since anyone can be irrational, anyone can be raysis, especially leftard loon losers.
Only when something doesn’t work for THEM do they then demand it be changed.
They are the ones that have screwed things up for themselves, not anything else. Their own ineptness and poor planning and execution. Even other libtards in the past were able to get things to work, now when the incompentents can’t even get their own primaries to work, now its the order of the primaries that’s the problem, not their own glaring idiocy.
See how long the dnc can last calling its libtard whites racists and putting them at the back of the bus.
They are in for a surprise.
