Her father the sportswriter was a notorious drunk who had multiple DUIs. Funny thing about this clip is how she claims she is making her father's alcoholism a "central theme" of her campaign...despite accusations from staff she herself drinks quite a bit and has physically abused her own staff

Interesting; I was only aware of the one column where he wrote very shamefacedly about a DUI; didn't know he had had many DUIs.

She coasted in on her Dad's name recognition.

I saw her speaking at a political event once; all kinds of platitudes, based on "we are all Minnesotans, isn't that great?"
