Rumor is that Pete Buttigieg’s partner wanted him pull out. I don’t know all the details yet .
Being in a Military family, I am offended when JAGS are referred to as ‘war veterans’. Yes, they happen to be in the Military, but have never experienced combat, which the term ‘war veteran’ suggests. There is a candidate in North Carolina who touts his Bronze Star award. He is also a JAG who did serve in Iraq and was awarded the BRONZE STAR for his efforts in organizing the courts in Iraq. But his ads, because he is of course running for Congress, show pictures of ‘war veterans’ looking like they are in combat situations. Yes, he was in Iraq. But it doesn’t seem right to portray himself as a combat veteran......but then he’s a Dem. No surprise. PS-his name is Cal Cunningham. Anyone from NC want to comment?

He stepping in it for sure. But honestly, listening to him talk in general about anything, and it just sounds like he is crafting sentences that include the right catch phrase whether it belongs with what he’s trying to convey or not. It just all really rings hollow.
