But it’s okay for California to “give-away” over $215,000 in California Lottery scratcher tickets to audience members at “The Ellen” show.

Another name for this bill would be the Hotel Sanitation Assurance Act.

when I worked for the state I stayed there.

I was assigned by my boss to go to a class in SF at the Hyatt Regency, circa 1978. The total per diem allowed was $40. The hotel was 99. Parking 25. Meals and incidentals would have been another 60 or so.

Had a co-worker with a pious tin Piedmont, so I crossed the bridge three days to go to the class.

The first day of class there were 200 people in the room. The host asks who’s not staying g at the hotel? I was the only one who raised my hand. He said, Oh, you mute be the state employee. The private companies put their people where the class was at the total cost. I thought WTF snd me to the Regency and give me 40 per day. BS.

In those days you could stray with someone and picket the money for the hotel. So at times i made out and at times I didn’t. About 1982 they started to require receipts so everyone maxed out on the expenses.

The Constitution prohibits states from passing bills of attainder.

CA doesn’t have any money. Their employees need to stay home! Cancel all travel!

Maybe Trump could ban the Federal government from making any purchases from the state of California.

Article 1 Section 10

1: No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.

California has already violated the underlined portion above. Jerry Brown entered into some international agreements and alliances before he left office on California’s behalf as if it were an independent nation and Newsom has followed in the same treasonous fashion.

True. But since it will now not be allowed, the Trump hotels should offer a special rate to California State employees that is less than the government standard hotel allowance. They won’t lose any money as no one will take them up on it. But if the CA legislature can virtue signal, so can the Trump hotels! Also, advertise it so that California taxpayers see how the state is wasting their money.

The dems are in a jam. All the other hotels were dirtier than Trump's.

I think they should take it a step further and mandate them to stay in Motel 6.
