‘New Deal for New Americans’ will reform immigration policy and strengthen our nation
Sacramento Bee ^ | February 9, 2020 | ANGELICA SALAS AND MANUEL PASTOR

We have, sadly, gotten used to constant bad news about immigration policy. There’s the public charge rule aimed at denying benefits, to eligible immigrants to the Trump administration’s attack on DACA and the “Dreamers.” There’s the proposal to increase naturalization fees, which is clearly aimed at limiting the immigrant vote. Add the recent announcement on potential travel restrictions on seven more countries, and you have to wonder whether anything good can ever come out of Washington.

We understand that those not in California sometimes think of us as a sort of Left Coast oddball – super diverse, highly liberal and not at all typical of the rest of America. But the truth is that our demographic change between 1980 and 2000 is what the U.S. is going through between 2000 and 2050. And our fights about immigration in the 1990s – in the context of sharp deindustrialization – presaged what is now gripping the nation.

In short, the reality is that California is America Fast Forward – and the nation would be wise to both see what is working here and accelerate the curve to not repeat our earlier anti-immigrant mistakes.

The liberal open border strategy laid bare. Overwhelm conservative America with massive immigration

“...which is clearly aimed at limiting the immigrant vote.”

Immigrants don’t HAVE a vote until they become citizens!

The aim is to have Mexico conquer the USA through massive illegal immigration. After this is accomplished, they will move to take over Canada. Spit.

Let’s hope Pres. Trump puts the full package out there. This should be part of a Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement bill, missing since 1987 ONE TIME amnesty. The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, missing since 1987 goes like this -

1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens’ victim restitution fund.

Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport, and remove colonizadors from our welfare rolls.

re limiting the immigrant vote:

Immigrants don’t HAVE a vote until they become citizens!

Let's not confuse the ideal with reality on the ground. That phrase means exactly what it says in the present (illegal voting by aliens) and in the future (majority built out of dependent immigrants whose legality has been accelerated).

"...We have, sadly, gotten used to constant bad news about immigration policy..."

YES! Bad news for turds like the authors, but good news for Americans and real citizens of this nation.

I damn well hope it made those people sad.

I hope it depresses them so much they have to hire therapists with huge co-pays, for therapy that does them no good but to drive them deeper into a depressive state.

Give Northern Calif. back to Russia. They’ll know better than to mess with them.

The bill would commit federal resources to state and local governments in support of immigrants and refugees, coordinating efforts through a new National Office of New Americans. The bill would also mandate U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to lower naturalization fees in order to encourage citizenship and require that agency to clear up a backlog that has resulted in some applicants waiting up to two years to naturalize.

The bill would also raise refugee admissions, expand legal services and access to justice for immigrants

F all that. America for Americans!

They're so clueless they can't understand that we DO see what has happened in California which is why we're trying to prevent it happening to the rest of the country.

1. "What the U.S. is going through between 2000 and 2050" is national which includes a lot of California's "contributions."

2. California is way more Hispanic than most of the rest of the country.

3. California is way less white than most of the rest of the country. You know there's a big difference between 25% new births being white like California vs. 50% nationally (and higher if you exclude California.)

Can somebody also explain why this no-chance-in-hell-of-passing D.O.A. bill filed in the House months ago is suddenly receiving so much media attention? Really don’t get it.

Given the authors names, obviously they are ethnically biased. No one in their right minds would agree with this ludicrous proposed law.

The House has passed hundreds of pie-in-the-sky bills in the last year. They get no attention in the Senate but they will be used in their campaign ads. Their voters are either so agreeable to their subterfuge or so ignorant that they believe that the Dems are sincere but the Republicans won’t cooperate. Dems used these claims in 2018 also.

Barr announces sweeping new sanctions, ‘significant escalation’ against left-wing sanctuary cities

AG Barr launches Presidential Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Justice.

Commission launched to address problems plaguing law enforcement; panel reaction and analysis.

Charging that so-called “sanctuary” cities that protect illegal immigrants are jeopardizing domestic security, Attorney General Bill Barr announced a slew of additional sanctions that he called a “significant escalation” against left-wing local and state governments that obstruct the “lawful functioning of our nation’s immigration system.”

Speaking at the National Sheriff’s Association 2020 Winter Legislative and Technology Conference in Washington, D.C., Barr said the Justice Department would immediately file multiple lawsuits against sanctuary jurisdictions, and implement new national reviews of left-wing sanctuary governments and prosecutors.

“The department is filing a complaint against the State of New Jersey seeking declaratory and injunctive relief against its laws that forbid state and local law enforcement from sharing vital information about criminal aliens with DHS,” Barr said.

“After all, immigrants and their U.S.-born children account for over one-quarter of our nation’s population.”

So how is America anti-immigrant? Anti-illegal immigrant yes but our immigration policy allows over one million plus to come to the USA every year.

I suggest that the no borders crowd high-tail it on out of here and attempt to become residents of Mexico, or the country of their choice, via illegal means.

Then they can report back to us in six months.
