mmm...
Mitt wanted to hear more witnesses. Why would he want that if he decided the President was guilty?

There are as many people that believe Mitt “agonized” over this decision as there were black Mormons 100 years ago.

Trump would be wise NOT to respond to Romney’s statements of “public sorrow”. He’s looking to grapple with Trump publicly in order to influence the senate to take a sterner tone with Trump if he dared to go after one of the “senate’s own” members.

Sounds like he’s going to try to weasel it out and puleeze take me back!

If he had doubts he should not have voted guilty. If not he should be able to explain what President Trump was guilty of. He merely lowered himself to the ethics level of the Senate democrats.

I call BS. Mitt tried hard to convince other republicans to call more witnesses and continue the witch hunt.
If he already had enough evidence to convict, then he didn’t need more witnesses.

No need for all the agony, Mitt. Just say “Not Guilty” when it came your turn.
But NOOOOO, you had to go all drama queen, and managed with the omission of one word, “Not”, to burn every bridge you ever crossed on the way to the History books.
So close. And all those good looks sent over from Central Casting for the performance as “Senior Statesman”.
