WASHINGTON -- Amazon wants to depose President Donald Trump over the tech companys losing bid for a $10 billion military contract.
The Pentagon awarded the cloud computing project to Microsoft in October. Amazon later sued, arguing that Trumps interference and bias against the company harmed Amazons chances of winning the contract.
The company said in a federal court filing in Washington on Monday that Trump has a well-documented personal animus towards Amazon, its CEO Jeff Bezos and The Washington Post, which Bezos owns. Amazon says that Trump is the only who can testify about the totality of his conversations and the overall message he conveyed about the bidding process.
Amazon is also asking to depose Defense Secretary Mark Esper, former Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and other government officials in its filing Monday with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

Wish there was a solid alternative to Amazon so we could stop subsidizing this psycho.
Karma, please happen soon.
No one voted for Jeff Bezos for POTUS. Apparently he is throwing a temper tantrum just like his idol, Nancy Pelosi.
ACQUITED!
Amazon is crushing local Mom and Pop stores, putting stores
like Sears and Macy’s out of business. Time to have a Federal suit anti trust against Amazon.
They want to get so big they won’t have competition and then they will raise prices very high.
This site is a competitor to Amazon. They are not as comprehensive in the totality of products offered but, they are the closest I’ve found.
He just beggin’ fo some anti-trust modulation!
Cry me a river!
Monopoly.
Everybody always ends up hating the guy who puts up the hotels.
It’s not personal. It’s just a game.
Too funny.
"Elections Have Consequences," Barack Hussein Obama.

Y/T, President Donald Trump
“They want to get so big they wont have competition and then they will raise prices very high.”
Amazon is already raising prices. Prime membership used to include “free” shipping. Now, it is apparent shipping is built into the price of many items so the company can say Prime shipping is “free” but it really isn’t.
For many items there are other vendors who will sell at parity with Amazon or even for less. I’ve had Home Depot and Best Buy match Amazon price in the store. All I had to do was show the Amazon web page for the item to the store and it was matched on the spot. Online many vendors will sell at or below the Amazon price.
I’ve received damaged goods and previously opened (likely returned) items in Amazon packages. I’ve found most other retailers send a new item in an unopened box.
Needless to say, if I can find an alternative to Amazon, at or close to the Amazon price, I choose the alternative. Free markets require many competitors to operate efficiently.
Thank you for the post. I, too want to wean myself off of Amazon.
Difficult to find out who Jet really is. Who are the backers? Where is it located, really? Etc.
OK so lets see if I have this right. If a businessman is unliked by the president and the businessman happens to be able to bid on a government contract then he MUST be awarded the contract since denying him the contract shows unfair bias....or something.
Right?
I’ve ordered from Jet in the past more than once. They have products I can’t find locally such as Duke’s Mayo.
I recommend them!
I suppose Trump can decide who to pay and who not to pay for the contract. That’s what being the head of the executive is about. Amazon and their crappy AWS service can be used or Microsoft and their crappy Azure service can be used. You can make a case for either of them or not or them very easily. Sorry Bezos try again in 10 years.
That’s cool.
I copied it but it didn’t play. How can I copy it so there is ‘movement’? Thanks.
Wish there was a solid alternative to Amazon
There is a away shop at stores or use their on line shopping,my self I don’t buy anything on line because more often it’s the wrong item,size.color,broke.........
besides in a store you see more items that are not on line.
Or it goes to Amazon and Microsoft throws a hissy-fit. It’s all about the fat government contract. Nothing more.
