Not too be creepy. But our military is the best on earth when it plays away games. However, it is very poorly suited to repress the nation at home. If it attacks the American people in some psycho future, the pattern will be the same as everywhere on earth sees. The F-15 pilots would find themselves shot dead when they pumped gas. Their families don’t normally live on base.
The base commander would get an envelope with his children walking into school, in crosshairs.
Families would all have to be brought onto base and housed and guarded.
And our bases here are usually laughably insecure.
And fuel gets rather hard to get, a tanker truck driver was shot dead as he approached base. All the other drivers refuse.
