Kirk Douglas, Michael's father, died earlier this week. Michael said at the appearance that his father supported Bloomberg until the very end.
"I don't know if he was pulling my leg or not, but one of the last words that he said in the hospital, when he came and he saw me, asked me to lean over close to him, and I leaned over close to him and he said, 'Mike can get it done'," he said.

Bloomberg has lots of Old Hollywood Money rooting for him.
That’s good for donations. It’s an impressive list of famous friends, but we don’t necessarily need actors telling us who to vote for.
Mike Douglas had Cameron, his oldest son serving cocaine from a silver tray years ago. When other actors would gather at one of Michaels homes, he ordered then teenage Cam to serve these kinds of refreshments to the other famous actor friends.

Wife Catherine Zeta Jones. I do not want to hate monger against a guy who married one of the most beautiful women on Earth. These days there may be a vaccine for protection in the event of cunning linguistic activities. There may be reasons to hate Mr Douglas for political reasons. Just not for his bedroom activities with his wife.
It sure is interesting how the big money spigot is being cranked on for an election that cannot honestly be won. Trump’s approval, especially under continual assault, would have had the other side saving their powder, in the past.
Of course, the Clinton Machine knows everything about grabbing money, so maybe that’s all this is about.
Well Kirk Douglas was 103, so I suspect none of his surviving relatives were shocked by his passing. More likely they have been preparing themselves for his death for awhile now.
