A new exit poll suggests that Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin are tied when it comes to first preference votes, making the result of the General Election too close to call.
The exit poll, carried out by Ipsos MRBI for RTÉ, The Irish Times, TG4 and UCD, indicates all three parties have 22% of first preference votes.
The margin of error in this exit poll is ±1.3% which means any of the three parties could be as low as 20.7% support or as high as 23.3%. [
]
The poll suggests a move toward Sinn Féin among younger voters, with the party receiving the largest number of first preference votes among 18-24 years olds.

Who did the other 35% vote for?
The Druid Coven?
The Leprechaun League?
The Poteen Party?

The Green Party are in fourth place, at 7.9 percent. Then there’s that country’s Labour Party (4.6%), Social Democrats (3%), Solidarity/People Before Profit (2%) and the rest are independents at 11 percent.
May as well be Leprechaun and Poteen parties for all they’re worth, never mind the frontrunners.

Magic Hearts.
Green Clovers.
(yes, got some Irish back there in the ancestry too, it seems.) Along with German and a bit of the Cherokee Indian.
I know I’m more Cherokee Indian than Elizabeth Warren.
But then, so is a ham sandwich.

Jerry: Parents came over here when I was eighteen. Cereal famine. Couldn’t get a bowl anywhere. Bad. ‘Tis a beautiful country though; lush rolling hills, and the peat, ah the peat.
Tim: Sounds more like Scottish.
Jerry: We were right on the border.

The land of my ancestors,a land that I was once proud of,is dead to me now. It's become just another tawdry little European cesspool thanks largely to the EU and the psychopaths of Sinn Fein.
I thanks God every day that my ancestors had the wisdom...and the courage...to get on that boat with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Is there a party that is a pro freedom party (an Irish version of Trump) running? Or is all the parties trying to make American Dems look sane? 😋

Agreed about Ipsos. They have no good intended for Ireland or anywhere else.
